__________________________________________________________________________ RESTORATIVE SERVICE Since all of the ROCKMAN© were all over 30 years old, they were all serviced by replacing all of the electrolytic capacitors, cleaning and re-lubricating all of the switches and connectors and re-touching any 'iffy' solder joints and minor repairs.
__________________________________________________________________________ CUSTOM POWER SUPPLY The Rockman Headphone Amps usually operate on [8] "AA" Batteries...
Or, a single output 2-wire 12 VAC transformer with internal +6 /-6 VDC Regulators (Named ROCKADAPTER© and plugged into the Rockman Battery compartment)
Or, a dual-rail +6VDC/ -6VDC regulated power supply with a 3.5mm STEREO JACK The TRS jack wiring is: T = +6VDC R = -6VDC S = Ground
All of the ROCKMAN© were modified with a custom made +/-6VDC Regulated power supply mounted in the battery compartment with a 12 VAC Power Jack and red LED
__________________________________________________________________________ PACKAGING The ROCKMAN© MODULES were all mounted in a Small Locking-File-Box with an internal 12 VAC power Supply that is line powered via an IEC power inlet
The Transformer is controlled by a Push-Button Switch and protected by a 0.5 Amp FUSE.
__________________________________________________________________________ MIXER - POWER AMP - SPEAKERS
The Four ROCKMAN© Headphone outputs feed an Internal Passive Four Channel Mixer with Faders available on the front of the ROCKBOX
The output of the mixer feeds an internal 6 Watt + 6 Watt stereo Amplifier... a Volume Control is avaialble on the top Panel.
The output of the power amplifier feeds two small 4 ohm speakers mounted on either side of the ROCKBOX.
